Healthy Paleo Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

Are you craving something sweet? These are one of the most simplest peanut butter cookie recipes you will ever find. The recipe uses just 3 ingredients, and is so simple a 5 year could make them.

These peanut butter cookies taste amazing, they have a soft and chewy texture and are not too sweet. Best of all you can snack on them without having to feel guilty.

When choosing peanut butter you should carefully look at the label. Many store brought peant btter contain to much salt, oil and even sugar… some brands even hide corn syrup in the ingredients to beware. The best option is to choose organic peanut butter.

If you want to make these paleo friendly be sure to use almond butter instead of peanut butter. Give them a try and and you won’t be disappointed!


Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 organic cage-free egg
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Grab a mixing bowl and combine all the ingredients together.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a spoon drop the mixture on the paper, using one heaping tablespoon for each cookie.

Place in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes. Cookies should be slightly browned around the edges.

Let the cookies cool for about 5 minutes to allow them firm up. Tuck in and and enjoy!
